In-Home aged care residents in NSW are being encouraged to prepare for the floods, following Queensland’s flood crisis.

As a result of the flooding, Queensland’s aged care Support Workers were cut off from their in-home clients.
The myHomecare Group CEO Stuart Miller said now is the time to contact family and work on an emergency plan.
“These floods have had a devastating impact on communities with many of our Queensland clients and staff experiencing flooding in their homes, our staff has been working around the clock making welfare checks on clients and redirecting support workers to temporary locations.”
